I was born and raised in a small fishing village, which at the time formed part of Northumberland, England. I had a happy childhood, with many friends, living in the terraced streets of Cullercoats. Today, the village looks very different, but the community spirit still thrives. 

Now I live not too far away from where I grew up, and enjoy writing and socialising with friends and family. Our two Goldies are always under my feet, causing havoc!

My interest in creative writing began at an early age, and I have enjoyed developing numerous characters over the years. DCI Caron Dell was created in 2005, and I wrote many short stories as I developed her character; although they were never submitted for publication, I still draw on those early ideas today.

I have five novels planned at this stage, and I hope to craft these in line with my storytelling style as soon as possible.
